We live in a capitalist world where most people believe that globalization based on free trade and free markets in all areas is the optimal or more efficient state.

In this paper I would like to accomplish the following:

1.Show the fallacy of the optimality conclusion

2.Demonstrate the validity of an alternative analysis of today’s processes of globalization—the theory of destructive trade

3.Propose a remedial procedure which would lead to a globalization which would be optimal

4.Indicate in both theory and practice solutions which already exist in today’s world and which approach optimality.

Note: This is a tandem paper with “MONDRAGON international multilocalization strategy” from dr. Luzarraga and Dr. Irizar. I would like it to be grouped with papers by Ian Macpherson, Darryl Reed/JJ McMurtry and Luzarraga/Irizar.
